Hydrex™ MV 32
High viscosity index hydraulic oil for balers and compactors
Balers like the Harris run hard all day, and their hydraulic oil gets hotter as the shift goes on. Normal oil thins out as it heats up, which can make the system sluggish and wear the pump. Hydrex MV 32 contains viscosity modifiers, which are long-chain polymers that stay coiled up when the oil is cool and stretch out as it warms. As the base oil thins with heat, those expanding polymers thicken it back up. That gives the oil a high viscosity index, so it keeps a steady thickness from a cold morning start to a hot afternoon.
