Petro-Canada’s TURBOFLO R&O Oils are high-quality lubricants designed for use in steam and gas turbines, as well as the circulating oil systems of a wide range of industrial machinery.
TURBOFLO R&O Oils counteract rust and oxidation with blends of ultra pure Petro-Canada HT Severely Hydrocracked base oils and specially selected additives.

Petro-Canada’s TURBOFLO EP is a premium turbine fluid designed for the lubrication of geared heavy duty gas turbines with common gear and bearing lubrication systems. Its outstanding thermal and oxidative stability also make it an excellent choice for severe service gas and steam turbine applications. It is formulated with Petro-Canada’s ultra pure HT Severely Hydrocracked base oils and highly advanced antioxidant and EP additive technology to deliver a winning combination of enhanced wear protection as well as oxidative and thermal stability.
HARNEX WIND TURBINE GEAR OIL
HARNEX™ 320 Wind Turbine Gear Oil is a premium synthetic lubricant designed to provide exceptional anti-wear/EP and protection from salt water corrosion. HARNEX is specially formulated for lubricating onshore and offshore wind turbine gearboxes for reduced downtime and less maintenance, especially critical for difficult to access gearboxes.
SENTRON NATURAL GAS ENGINE OIL

SENTRON LD 8000
SENTRON LD 8000’s extended drain intervals can mean lower maintenance costs, less used oil to dispose of and a more efficient and profitable operation.
A revolutionary low ash SAE 40 lubricant built from base oil that is 99.9% pure. It contains a specialized additive mix that provides greater TBN retention to help neutralize acids that can attack liner surfaces.
Helps prevent deposits at an optimized ash level to reduce wear on metal engine parts which enhance reliability and minimize service downtime. Applicable to both low and high nitrating engines. Caterpillar G3300-G3600 engine verified and MAN approved.
Suitable for use in 4 –stroke engines operating on natural pipeline gas, pre-treated sewage/bio-gas and selective pre-treated process gasses.
SENTRON LD 5000
SENTRON LD 5000 (0.57% wt ash) is a premium performance 4-stroke natural gas engine oil:
Provides greatly extended protection to natural gas engines operating under regular, high temperature and severe conditions. Extends drain intervals – up to 200% or longer compared to leading conventional competitive natural gas engine oils. For use in Caterpillar, Caterpillar Power systems GmbH (MWM), MAN, MTU, Waukesha, and other turbocharged naturally aspirated, stoichiometric or lean burn engines, which require a low ash natural gas engine oil.
GE Jenbacher approved in engine types 2, 3, 4, 6 (all versions) and 9 with Gas Type A including Formaldehyde Catalyst approval. Caterpillar G3600 engine verified and Waukesha L 7044GSI & L 7042GSI verified.
Less used oil generated due to extended drain capability. Excellent piston cleanliness for reduced oil consumption and longer equipment life at extended drain intervals.
Suitable for engines with catalytic converters and for severe service applications
SENTRON LD 3000
SENTRON LD 3000 (0.47% wt ash) is a high quality performing natural gas engine oil:
For use in 4-stroke and some larger 2-stroke gas engines. It extends drain intervals versus conventional Group I based competitor oils. It is ideal for high output, turbocharged engines that prefer a low ash natural gas engine oil, delivering excellent control of engine deposits. Excellent high-temperature control of varnish deposits to minimize valve sticking issues.
Caterpillar verified (G3600, G3500 and lower) Waukesha verified (L 7044GSI & L 7042GSI), Waukesha Co-Gen Approved Suitable for engines with catalytic converters and for severe service applications.
SENTRON LD Synthetic Blend
SENTRON LD Synthetic Blend (0.51% wt ash) is a premium performance synthetic blend multi-grade natural gas engine oil:
Provides greatly extended protection to natural gas engines operating under regular, high temperature and severe conditions. Provides greatly extended protection to natural gas engines operating under regular, high temperature and severe conditions. The SAE 15W-40 multi-grade synthetic blend formulation is formulated using high-quality Group III base oil and premium additives to extend drains. Low temperature starting capabilities down to -20°C/-4°F with a pour point of -45°C/-49°F.
There is less used oil generated due to extended drain capability. Excellent piston cleanliness for reduced natural gas engine oil consumption and long equipment life at extended drain intervals. Excellent performance to reduce “Ash Pounding” in certain engine designs and conditions. For use in Caterpillar, Waukesha and other turbocharged or naturally aspirated, stoichiometric or lean burn engines, which require low ash natural gas engine oil
Suitable for natural gas engines with catalytic converters.
SENTRON CG 40 PLUS
SENTRON CG 40 PLUS (0.52% wt ash) is a premium performance natural gas engine oil for 4-stroke engines in severe service untreated contaminated gas operations:
For 4-stroke gas engines running in severe service high halogen landfill gas, bio-gas, digester gas and sewage gas operations. Designed specifically for engines that are more sensitive to ash levels in untreated gas applications. Provides excellent control of deposits and excellent It has high TBN retention characteristics to neutralize harmful acids. GE Jenbacher approval for Engine Types 2, 3, 4 and 6 in Type B and C Gas Classifications Caterpillar (G3500-downward) verified.

SENTRON CG 40
SENTRON CG 40 (0.93% wt ash) is a high quality natural gas engine oil for 4-stroke engines in severe service untreated contaminated gas operations:
A mid ash oil suitable for 4-stroke gas engines running in severe service conditions in bio-gas, digester gas, sewage gas, sour gas or low contaminant landfill gas operations
Not for use in ash-sensitive catalytic converter systems.

SENTRON MID ASH 40
SENTRON MID ASH 40 (0.80% wt ash) is a good quality, medium ash SAE 40 natural gas engine oil:
For use in older performance 4-stroke gas engines requiring a natural gas engine oil with a medium ash content. Most commonly used in older slip stream engines in gas compression service. It has excellent valve recession protection due to ash content.
Extended Drain intervals versus the standard OEM recommendation have been observed in non-slip stream applications
Not for engines fitted with catalytic converters.
SENTRON 590

SENTRON 590 (0.59% wt ash) is a problem-solver natural gas engine oil with enhanced nitration control: A low ash, premium performance natural gas engine oil specifically formulated to enhance nitration control in smaller engines, typically in Stoichiometric engines. Combined with Petro-Canada’s engine optimization recommendations, and under severe nitrating conditions, SENTRON 590 can deliver up to 200% longer oil life. Field tested on Caterpillar G3300 and G3500 turbocharged engines. Suitable for engines with catalytic converters and for severe service applications.

SENTRON ASHLESS 40
SENTRON ASHLESS 40 (0.04% wt ash) a high quality natural gas engine oil for large 2-stroke engines being used in gas compression applications:
Designed for large 2-stroke gas engines, however has been used successfully in certain 4-stroke cycle gas engines in continuous, very low load conditions. Check with your Petro-Canada Technical Services Advisor. Minimizes combustion chamber, port, piston top and spark plug deposits that could lead to pre-ignition. Excellent corrosion protection.
OEM’s engine field tests such as Ajax, Clark, Cooper and Waukesha 7042G have been verified.
Suitable for engines with catalytic converters.
SENTRON VTP
SENTRON VTP 10W-40 (0.54% wt ash) and SENTRON VTP 0W-30 (0.57% wt ash) are multi-grade NGEO’s for stationary natural gas engines, available in 10W-40 and 0W-30 SAE grades:
SENTRON VTP products carry additional anti-wear additives to protect against premature Valve Train Wear in converted gasoline and some diesel engines
SENTRON VTP 10W-40 is a multi-grade natural gas engine oil specially designed for small 4-stroke natural gas engines and converted gasoline engines that are difficult to start in winter conditions. For cold starts/ cold flow pumpability as cold as (-30°C/-22°F)
SENTRON VTP 10W-40 is suitable for use in applications where Cummins CES 20074-2012 is specified
SENTRON VTP 0W-30 is a multi-grade natural gas engine oil specially designed for small 4-stroke cycle natural gas engines that are difficult to start in severe winter conditions. For extreme cold starts/ cold flow pumpability (less than -35°C/-31°F)
SENTRON VTP products may be suitable for use in engines equipped with certain on-road catalytic convertors – check with your Petro-Canada Technical Services Advisor
HEAT TRANSFER FLUID
The Petro-Canada family of heat transfer fluids is formulated for liquid phase applications between 326°C/620°F and 5°C/41°F, in closed, non-pressurized systems. There are several formulations to meet the performance, environmental, and health and safety needs of a wide range of processing applications.
PETRO-THERM
PETRO-THERM heat transfer oil performs in non-pressurized, liquid phase, closed heat transfer systems operating at bulk fluid temperatures up to 315°C/599°F.
CALFLO AF
CALFLO AF is a highly efficient heat transfer fluid recommended for systems requiring a greater resistance to oxidation operating with bulk temperatures up to 316°C (600°F).
CALFLO LT
CALFLO LT is a synthetic blend heat transfer fluid made with PAO and severely hydrocracked mineral oil.
CALFLO HTF
CALFLO HTF is a premium high temperature heat transfer fluid recommended for systems operating with bulk temperatures up to 326°C (619°F).
CALFLO Synthetic
Petro-Canada CALFLO Synthetic is a Synthetic heat transfer fluid that balances low-temperature fluidity with outstanding oxidative stability and volatility control at extremely low temperatures down to -48°C (-55°F).
PC Cleaning Fluid
PC Cleaning Fluid effectively cleans dirty or heavily carbonized systems which have been operating on aromatic based or mineral based heat transfer fluids.
Flushing Fluid
Flushing Fluid is specifically designed to effectively flush out heat transfer systems to remove trapped residual fluids, breakdown Products and other debris.
LUMINOL TRANSFORMER OIL
LUMINOL™ Outperforms Naphthenic Electrical Insulating Oils. Petro-Canada’s LUMINOL family of electrical insulating fluids represents a breakthrough in electrical insulating fluids technology. Unlike naphthenic mineral oils, LUMINOL uses Petro-Canada’s ultra-pure severely hydrotreated isoparaffin base fluids to help minimize power loss and maximize productivity.
These fluids contain no corrosive sulphur that may lead to transformer breakdown. LUMINOL fluids withstand energy spikes and hot and cold weather extremes, better than naphthenic electrical insulating oils. Thanks to a naturally high oxidation stability, LUMINOL fluids resist breakdown longer and help provide extended service life. So less money is spent on routine transformer maintenance and fluid top-up, and less time worrying about transformer efficiency. LUMINOL delivers worry-free, corrosive sulphur-free performance.
